The School of Music offers graduate programs and degrees in three broad fields of specialization: performance, composition, and music scholarship.
The听Master of Music (M.Mus.)听and听Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.)听are offered in performance and composition; the听Master of Arts (M.A.)听and the听Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Music听with emphases on Music Theory, Historical Musicology, and Ethnomusicology. We also offer Master's and doctoral degrees in听Music Education.
