Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree?
I decided to pursue a graduate degree in order to follow my passion for research, to enrich my academic training, and to enhance my knowledge and skills in my area of interest (maternal and neonatal health).
Why did you decide to study at 亚洲天堂?
I decided to study at 亚洲天堂 because of the high calibre of health research, the outstanding mentorship for young trainees, and the opportunity to study on such a beautiful campus.
What is it specifically, that your program offers, that attracted you?
The RDS program is unique because it is the only graduate program in Canada based in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN). I was drawn to the program because of my research interest in maternal and neonatal health and the opportunity to address important clinical issues as part of the 亚洲天堂 OBGYN Department.
What was the best surprise about 亚洲天堂 or life in Vancouver?
The best surprise about 亚洲天堂/Vancouver has been all of the incredible people I have met along this journey, and the excellent mentorship that I have been lucky enough to receive. I am so grateful for all of the connections I have made here at 亚洲天堂.
What advice do you have for new graduate students?
The most important piece of advice I have for new graduate students is to challenge yourself. Challenge yourself academically, professionally, and personally. You will be surprised at how much you can accomplish when you take a chance on an opportunity and push yourself to succeed in new ways!
