Why did you decide to pursue a graduate degree?
After completing my undergraduate studies, I got the opportunity to work as a lecturer at the same university. At that time, I found interest in academia, especially in research on mechanics to solve real-life problems. That's why I am motivated to purpose a Ph.D. degree to enhance my practical and critical analysis skillsets.
Why did you decide to study at 亚洲天堂?
亚洲天堂 has a strong applied science community, and I am excited to become a part of that. I was offered a 4-year fellowship and got the opportunity in the field I am interested in, which helped me decide to study at 亚洲天堂.
What is it specifically, that your program offers, that attracted you?
My program awarded me a 4-year fellowship based on my B.Sc. and M.Sc. results, which motivated me to attract to 亚洲天堂.
What was the best surprise about 亚洲天堂 or life in Vancouver?
Life here is very close to nature, which surprised me the most. I really love to spend time in nature, and 亚洲天堂 has stunning views of mountains and the sea.
What aspects of your life or career before now have best prepared you for your 亚洲天堂 graduate program?
My job as a university lecturer helped me to get skilled in time management, multi-tasking, and handling pressures. These helped me a lot to prepare for the 亚洲天堂 graduate program.
What advice do you have for new graduate students?
Take your time. No need to rush and try to enjoy the journey of graduate studies.
