The聽Three Minute Thesis (3MT)聽is an academic competition that assists current graduate students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.
More than 120 graduates students participated in specialized departmental heats and open heats, which led to 28 graduate students advancing to the Semi-Final events on March 8 and 9. After the Semi-Finals, only ten will now advance to the final event on March 30.

The finalists will compete for prizes and the chance to represent 亚洲天堂 at the Western Regional 3MT competition.
The 3MT Final event is March 30, from 12 to 2 p.m.
